# Keyboard navigation

Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move through interactive controls, and Enter or Space to activate the focused control as appropriate. Keep focus in the intended pane before using an editor command.

## Explorer commands

Explorer exposes its own shortcut/settings interface. Open it to see the bindings for the current editor, including executing and formatting operations. Use that interface as the authority for platform-specific modifier keys; browser and operating-system bindings can differ.

Executing while the query pane contains a mutation changes data just as clicking Execute does. Review the operation before invoking a shortcut.

## Forms and drawers

Use visible Save and Close controls to complete an editing workflow. Do not assume a browser shortcut saves a Flexkit record. If focus or a shortcut behaves unexpectedly, use the explicit button and report the app, browser, operating system, and focused control.
