# Limits

This page lists the limits that apply to teams and projects. Allocations reset on the 1st of every month, at 00:00 UTC. For prices, see [pricing](/docs/pricing).

## Plan limits

| Agent chat uploads per member per day | 3 | 100 |

Per team and per user:

| | Limit |
| ------------------------------ | ----- |
| Free projects per team | 2 |
| Teams per user | 100 |
| Projects per user | 100 |
| Saved payment methods per team | 3 |

## Included usage

When a **Free** project reaches 100% of its API requests, database capacity or asset storage, it becomes **read-only**. Queries keep working and changes are blocked until usage is back under the limit, or until you upgrade.

A **Pro** project keeps working and the excess is billed as on-demand usage, unless [spend management](/docs/spend-management) is set to pause it.

## Agent allowance

When a project reaches its monthly agent allowance:

- **Free projects:** agent chat and automations stop until the 1st. Starting a chat turn or run explains why.
- **Pro projects:** the agent continues, billed per turn, run and step. The exception is when on-demand usage is **Disabled**, which stops the agent at the allowance.

Allowances are counted per project, for the calendar month.

## AI credits

AI model usage is paid from the team's [AI credits](/docs/billing/ai-credits). When the balance runs out, AI features stop until it's topped up.

| | Limit |
| ---------------- | --------------------------------------------------------- |
| One-off top-up | $10 to $1,000 |
| Automatic top-up | At least $5 per top-up, up to the monthly maximum you set |

## Agent and automation limits

| Limit | Value |
| ------------------------------------------ | ------------- |
| Longest an agent chat turn can stay active | 30 minutes |
| Longest a single agent query can run | 60 seconds |
| Data-change runs per automation | 20 per minute |
| Data-change runs per project | 60 per minute |

Runs triggered by data changes have extra protection against loops. See [loop protection](/docs/automations/loop-protection).

## Skills

| Limit | Value |
| ----------------- | ----------------- |
| Skill name | 120 characters |
| Skill description | 1,024 characters |
| Skill content | 50,000 characters |

See the [tools and skills reference](/docs/reference/tools).

## Need a higher limit?

Pro removes most per-project caps and turns the included usage into an allowance rather than a stop. Custom limits will come with the [Enterprise plan](/docs/plans#enterprise-coming-soon), which is coming soon. Until then, for anything beyond Pro, [contact support](/docs/support).
