# AI credits

Open **team Billing → AI Credits**. The page labels the balance **AI Automations Credit** and provides **Buy Credit** and auto-reload controls. The wallet is distinct from project infrastructure usage and its spending limit.



## Auto-reload

The form includes:

| Control                  | Meaning                                                                  |
| ------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Enabled                  | Whether auto-reload is enabled.                                          |
| When balance falls below | The threshold that triggers a reload.                                    |
| Reload to target balance | The desired balance after a reload, rather than a fixed purchase amount. |
| Maximum monthly spend    | The ceiling configured for reload spending in the month.                 |

For example, a threshold and target describe two different levels; setting a target is not setting the threshold. Review the displayed currency and confirmation before saving. Use Cancel to leave without applying edits.

## When AI cannot run

Inspect the available balance, payment state, automation credit controls, and project restrictions. Increasing an infrastructure spending limit does not by itself resolve a missing AI credit balance. Inspect [run details](/docs/automations/runs) for the actual failure.

Purchased credits and included plan allocations are distinct. Review current purchase terms for expiry and eligibility rather than treating a balance screenshot as a policy guarantee.
